Immediately received a boxed error message as follows (see attached grab of message):

Expected results:
Should have opened an email box enabling me to create a normal reply. This happens for any email in my Inbox.

Tim, what locale are you using?
(In reply to Corey Bryant from comment #1)
Tim, what locale are you using?
Corey, I'm not sure what "locale" means here - let me know and I'll give you the information.

You should be able to find the Language in use in your settings if you search for "Language". Such as English (US).
Got it. I'm in London, UK, and Thunderbird has always been set to English (UK)
This problem is completely new to me and coincides with the update to 143

I was thinking perhaps it wasn't translated but it was in fact translated on May 29th so that shouldn't be the issue.
Are you able to add an angry emoji when composing a message? The Formatting toolbar has a smiley drop-down that you can select it from.
I can't get as far as adding an emoji of any sort. The screengrab I sent you is what I see immediately after clicking on Reply - the problem occurs before a Reply box is generated.
As I mentioned this only occurred today after the restart for 143.0.1
Can I go back to 142.3.0?
Additional information: exactly the same thing occurs when clicking on Forward, or Redirect, but not on Junk or Delete. There's clearly an error in the code somewhere?

That is indeed translated. https://pontoon.mozilla.org/en-GB/thunderbird/mail/chrome/messenger/messengercompose/messengercompose.dtd/?string=320299
I wonder if you somehow are getting an outdated lang-pack. Do you see any issues elsewhere?
