User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; SunOS sun4u; en-US; rv:1.3) Gecko/20030314 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; SunOS sun4u; en-US; rv:1.3) Gecko/20030314 Looks like crash on java. Browser crashes on opening the mentioned page. Tested with plugin from 1.4.0 JRE and also the lib_javaplugin.so from netscape plugins site. Same PLUGIN WORKS for Mozilla 1.2.1 Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.goto http://news.bbc.co.uk 2. 3. Actual Results: Crash Expected Results: Display site
a crash at that site has repeatedly been reported. And each time it turns out that people had copied the java plugin to the mozilla plugins directory, instead of symlinking to it's original location from the plugins dir. Can that be the case here too?

It works On making lm -s. This problem was not there for 1.2.1, any ideas why. symlink is working great!

that's great, but the "fixed" resolution isn't really appropriate because this wasn't fixed, it just works with a link. reopening to change...
