Reporter: Is this still a problem with a current Mozilla build?
I'm marking this bug worksforme, do to lack of duplicates and information and i haven't seen a crash when installing a theme myself

Not surprising that over the last 15 months(!) this has been addressed. Reporting bugs feels a tiny bit futile since they don't seem to actually get looked at for a year or so after they are reported.
