Sometimes going to a site just shows a one gif image from the site

For example if I go to, sometimes all I see is xyz.gif I have to
reload multiple number of times. this promblem occures randomly. The other day
it cropped up on, happens on almost all sites randomly. On
reloading the page loadsm but sometimes 2-3 times reload has to be pressed.
    The detail of the problem is like this. Suppose i am on a site xyz. I press
link abc.  I will got a particlular image def.gif on the page if i had
typed in my location bar, though there is in
location bar. on pressing reloads multiple times will load and this
problem will go away

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Try browsing several gif image comntaining sites clicking on lotsa links etc

Actual Results:  
Only the gif image opened

Expected Results:  
The whole page should have loaded
