User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.4a) Gecko/20030329 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.4a) Gecko/20030329 At some point while clicking on messages in the forums, the beach ball will spin endlessly and I have to force quit Mozilla. It does not always seem to occur at the same point, does occur repeatedly and so I have gone to the site in IE (which I have previously used on the site without problem) or Camino (2/29/03 build) which seems to handle it OK. On another note, I had a crash with 1.4a (2/29/03 build) and it generated a report in Talkback. Unfortunately there seems to be a problem in Talkback as it is unable to successfully connect and keeps on trying and trying. Also, the scrolling headline on the BBC News sit <http://news.bbc.co.uk/> will appear in the tab browsing window of another web site. If you scroll down the page of the other web site it will reproduce itself and cover a large portion of the other page. Thanks Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Nothing special or unusual, just clicking through the forum messages. 2. 3. Expected Results: I expected the message I clicked on to open. Instead the spinning beach ball appeared and Mozilla was "locked up" or "frozen". The crash occurred on startup. I am sorry that I have yet to figure out how to copy the crash report. I have looked in the menus and it simply is not apparent to me at this time. If there is a way to do so you can contact me at rbriscoe@satx.rr.com. Thanks!
Richard: please see the bug-reporting guidelines at http://www.mozilla.org/quality/bug-writing-guidelines.html . Bug reports such as this one are useless because they are three different problems, which makes it impossible to triage this bug to the correct person who might fix it.
