User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.3) Gecko/20030312 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.3) Gecko/20030312 Mozilla could benefit from having more advanced options for handling document history. Opera 6 exhibits superior configuration options in this respect. They offer you to turn on or off all history for back/forward, typed in (location bar), and visited history records, as well as giving the option to input individually how many records to store in each. Mozilla 1.3 merely offers the ability to clear the history, which must be done by accessing the proper menu under preferences. It would be vastly easier just to be able to turn off the location bar, or specify your own default settings. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. In Opera 6, go to file>preferences>history & cache for example of advanced history controls. Actual Results: NA Expected Results: NA

The history back end supports all those preferences; UI for them is a separate issue.

assuming bz knows what he's talking about :) closing WFM per bz. If you need UI please open a bug and list the items needed that have prefs but lack UI.
