I dont like reading long texts on the monitor, so i print them. But if I want to read some discussion in a newsgroup, I have to read it either on my monitor, or print every post on its own. So a feature where i would just select the main thread and print the whole discussion would be great. There should perhaps also be a possibility for not printing the quotes in the newsgroups to save paper and ink... Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Select a news thread (main Thread) 2.Klick on print to print the thread Actual Results: Just the selevted Post ist Printed Expected Results: It should offer a possibility to print the selected Post, or the post and all the responses to the Post

At the risk of sounding like an AOLer, I *fully agree* with Oli Putz. I would absolutely love this feature. It would have been very useful when I was at university: we used newsgroups extensively, and I often ended up printing each message within a thread manually. Really it would have to print them out in a nested, Slashdot-style with individual messages/articles clearly delimited. IHMO not offering nesting would be a major limitation. I also agree with the comment about removing quotes. It's amazing that in general, programs offer such poor and wasteful printing support. At least Moz now supports scaling :-) As an aside, are there any programs that can print an entire thread, or I am going to hack something together with Perl and Net::NNTP?

This is an automated message, with ID "auto-resolve01". This bug has had no comments for a long time. Statistically, we have found that bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code. While your input is very important to us, our resources are limited and so we are asking for your help in focussing our efforts. If you can still reproduce this problem in the latest version of the product (see below for how to obtain a copy) or, for feature requests, if it's not present in the latest version and you still believe we should implement it, please visit the URL of this bug (given at the top of this mail) and add a comment to that effect, giving more reproduction information if you have it. If it is not a problem any longer, you need take no action. If this bug is not changed in any way in the next two weeks, it will be automatically resolved. Thank you for your help in this matter.
