User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 5.5; Windows 98; H010818) Build Identifier: 2003040308 Attempting to view this page drains system resources to <10%. Sits >1m attempting to load, then "system resources are dangerously low" popup. Also occurs with older builds: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.3) Gecko/20030312, and Phoenix: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.3a) Gecko/20021207 Phoenix/0.5. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Start Mozilla 2.Paste url and hit enter 3. Actual Results: "System resources are dangerously low" Expected Results: Loaded page without error. IE5.50 loads page without error. Everything default. System is W98SE K6-2/450, 256M RAM.

Possibly related to having moderator status on slashdot, thus a zillion little moderate boxes. Actually, it turns out IE suffers the same problem, but only when I reload the page.

Yes, probably related to bug 32669 (comment #14). Happens on other slashdot pages with >300 comments and moderator widgets. There really needs to be a way to prevent web pages from doing this. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 32669 ***
