Name kind of gives the impression that i can rename the file, which I can't (I
think)

Renaming it to File is more common sense wouldn't it?

Clicking on Name headers=organize names(which doesn't sound good)
Clicking on File headers=organize files sounds better

Also, in MailNews, it uses Sender and Recipients, rather than Name

Apple also doesn't use NAME but uses what the file is called.
