Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Open preferences, set nome page to www.cnn.com 2. click okay. Close preferences. Close Mozilla 3. Reopen Mozilla. Actual Results: Original default home page appears. Expected Results: display home page as www.cnn.com
This works for me, Moz 1.4a on WinXP. Is the address you set in Preferences staying, or is it reset to the default? If the value stays, this is a dupe of bug 187721. If it does not stay, it might be a profile problem. Besides answering the question above, try creating a new profile and see if that helps.
Summary: I set home page preference click okay and close mozilla. On reopen of browser default home page appears. → Default home page appears, ignoring preferences
