spin loops while text zooming
see the steps to reproduce, only 3 are needed
happens every time on my system

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start at http://www.planetbluegrass.com Select the low bandwidth button
2. Using the javascript menus select Folks Festival -> Lineup
3. Using Mozilla's menus select Viwe -> Text Zooming -> 120%

Actual Results:  
spin loop
all mozilla windows are hung
no screen redraws are performed
"kill" is required to end program

Expected Results:  
redrawn the screen with fonts I can read clearly
