User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.3) Gecko/20030312 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.3) Gecko/20030312 When installing the mozilla addressbook palm sync, all works fine. I removed it because the line in the hotsync manager for "Address Book" was replaced with strange ASCII characters such as "▐áⁿ" or something like it. So I ran the mozilla address book palm sync uninstall program. However, when I did that, the "address Book" did return correctly in the Hotsync custum settings section, however the Mail sync was missing nor would syncing the PDA transfer the mail between the systems. The only solution was to extract the [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\U.S. Robotics] section from my home PC (running the EXACT same configuration) and merge it into my work PC. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Run address book palm sync install 2. check address book appearence in hotsync manager 3. Run address book palm sync uninstall Actual Results: mail synchronization ability was missing and not functioning. Expected Results: First, the address book should appear as "address book" in hotsync manager. Second, removal of mozilla address book sync should not interfere with mail sync. I've tested this on two seperate PC's running the same O/S and palm software. The Hotsync software in question is version 4.0.2.
