User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.2.1) Gecko/20021130 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.4a) Upgraded from 1.2 to 1.4a. When I rebooted to finish the installation several errors kept popping up. "js325.dll couldn't be found" - I searched my system too! Also, an error about a string in xpcom.dll which was missing. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Install Mozilla 1.2.1 2.Click the "Hey! You're using an old version of Mozilla. We can really use your help testing Mozilla 1.4 alpha. Download it now! Thanks!" Download Button. 3. Run the installer, and reboot. Actual Results: The same error windows kept popping up. Kill one, the other takes it's place. Repeat error message +/- 50 times. Expected Results: Worked!
could you try renaming your mozilla directory out of the way, and resintalling again? See if that works. This is probably a symptom of bug 190816. A reboot at the end of the install usually indicates that one (or more files) was in use when it tried to install, which means you had an app running (typicaly Mozilla) that had those files locked in memory.
changing severity -fix to bug 190816 takes care of this problem
