I was trying to found something else, but found this. I think it might help you
a bit, if you're not already using it. It promises something like a 5x speed
increase in the speed of a compile process!
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.read the doc at the URL
2.try to install
3.try to compile severall times!
Expected Results:
more than 5 time speed increase in the compile process the second (or more) time.
I don't know what you're using in tinderbox. But ccache uses gcc as compiler, so
it may be usefull for you.

Please use the news://news.mozilla.org/ newsgroups to post informative messages.
There is at least one tinderbox and several developers already using ccache.
There is nothing needed to be done to mozilla to support ccache.
