Mosaic (anyone remember it?) had a feature that allowed printing ofWeb pages with link information annotated with superscripts and the actuallink information appearing at the bottom of the page as footnotes.It would be very nice to have this or something like this in Mozillaas a documentation feature.

Strange as it seems, but I can't find a previous bug.

In writing a whole post on this idea, I discovered that Phoenix actually has
this feature in in File->Page Setup->[Margins & Header/Footer] tab -- except it
don't work for me when I print. :)
Sorry for the error in my previous comment. I misunderstood this report to be
referring to showing the URL at the bottom of the page. I was looking over a
printout of this page and finally realized what you were referring to.

Well, since I'm already commenting in this topic, I just wanted to mention that
we'll need a way to turn it on or off -- perhaps an option in File -> Page Setup.

Please, also have a look at 211560, I made there some suggestions about the
functionality.

I think the best way to implement this would be an extension because I don`see a
great use in this for the average user and it would indeed ads overhead (in code
and in UI, making it even more complicated) The suite "maybe" will not see
feature enhanchements after the 1.7 release and this really doensn`t fit into a
default Firefox build IMHO. So I´d suggest wontfix.
