Tried to add new user and clicked wrong button. User name was not a valid email

Later I edited my admin user account preferences to change group membership and
saved the changes. The system then asked me to log in again, which I did...
unfortunatly to no avial. Using the second admin account I saw that my primary
admin account had gained a user id of 'test' - which was the mistake from the
create new user form.

Additional information:
Think this problem is related to Mozilla's caching of form details as now I've
stopped storing the form content for my bugzilla installation this problem has
gone away.
However this does raise the question as to whether it might not be a good idea
to modify the field names on the form used to edit details so they don't match
other field names used for other purposes...

That won't fix the problem you ran into because we'd have to use different field
names for each user being edited which is impractical. The form fields are
indeed being used for the same thing. The best idea is to turn off your form
caching for the administrative pages.
