when opening the mail-window i get a message box with the following error:

procedure entry point "?GetCString@nsFileSpec@@QBEPBDXZ" could not be located in
xpxom.dll

i have to click 2-3 time on OK to close the box.
same error when trying to read newspostings...

You have a possible out-of-date addon (spellchecker,... ?)

Please do this :
uninstall mozilla, delete all files in the Mozilla application directory except
the plugins subfolder and reinstall mozilla.
