Every version of netscape I've tested (from 3.0 on win3.11 to 4.7 on linux, including 4.0 and 4.5 on Win9x ad 4.x on mac) and Mozilla M11 render the example at the attached URL incorrectly, at least compared to how IE4/5 renders it (screenshot included), and what's intuitive. The example consists of a table with width="100%", two cells with specified width and some text, then a last cell without width specification and only a non-breaking space. Instead of forcing the two first cells to their specified widths and letting the last one fill the rest of the table, it makes the last one as narrow as possible and stretches the two others accordingly. I don't have the time to check what the W3C HTML 4.0 spec says about this subject, but the tableset passes the w3c HTML validator (it pukes at some other elements of the page though).
Summary: Mozilla M11 renders tables incorrectly → Table rows with cells both with and without width specification render incorrectly
OS: Linux → All
Hardware: PC → All
