Now that the final versions are released, we should add them to the Mozilla installers so that *nix desktops can have these great looking fonts, the first pro quality, F/free fonts available for *nix. After the MS Web Font pack removal, this is the best bet for a good looking browsing experience.

I think this is the Linux distributors job, not Mozillas. I'm pretty sure all major distributions will ship these fonts (or does it already).
Nominating for WONTFIX, as the font package got a lot wider reception than I anticipated. :)
