I expect to be prompted with form field values as soon as start typing.
Currently, I need to enter two characters to get prompted.

Even if it were an expected behavior, it'd have to change. What would be the
reason to make the user wait? Trying not to "overwork" the CPU? Autocomplete in
forms already works 10% of time, and now I have to type 2 characters?
My guess is that this is a lame attempt at saving CPU clocks, but it should
definitely be changed.

Appears to be fixed as of 2003-07-14.  Verified on Linux.  See Bug# 212487.
