• v1: disable mobile data
• v2: enable storage permission
• v3: app settings - enable https-only mode, disable everything on data collection and remote improvements
• v4: enable mobile data
• s1: visit https://cgit.git.savannah.gnu.org/cgit/emacs.git, it redirects to hell.jing.rocks
• s2: 2nd tab, visit https://cgit.git.savannah.gnu.org/cgit/emacs.git redirects to hell.jing.rocks
• s3: 3rd tab, visit cgit.git.savannah.gnu.org/cgit/emacs.git redirects to hell.jing.rocks
• s4: close all tabs
• s5: three dot menu - delete browsing data
• again repeat s1 to s4
• go to device settings - app - fenix - storage - clear data
• repeat steps from v1 to s5, same issue

The mailing list mentions a fix, but apparently it's not properly working.

• i assumed ai or some weird thing overtook browser bcoz of space before url and it (redirected url) adamnantly planted itself across reboots or reinstalls
• obviously misplaced notion
