User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.4a) Gecko/20030401 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.4a) Gecko/20030401 When attempting to create a bookmark in the personal toolbar folder by dragging the site icon from the address bar to an empty space on the toolbar, sometimes no new bookmark is created. Also, the 'New Folder' option on the context menu does nothing (the dialog for the new item doesn't appear, no 'New Folder' item appears). This started happening shortly after I deleted all the items on the toolbar. Reproducible: Didn't try Steps to Reproduce: I think this is what caused it to stop working: 1. Delete all bookmarks 2. Create a new folder 3. Create some new items by dragging & dropping into the folder 4. Open a new browser window 5. Close the original one. For a while, I had two browser windows open, one of which was capable of creating new bookmarks by d&d, the other one wasn't.
Reporter, These issues should be resolved in a newer build. Please try with today's build.

Huh? I only downloaded it on Friday. As far as I can tell from http://www.mozilla.org/ this is the latest release. I quote: "This is our latest alpha release." What gives?
We have daily builds of Mozilla. Here is the latest one for Windows. http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla/nightly/2003-04-24-12-trunk/
