I've been able to use Mozilla to access other FTP sites, but the site I'm hosting only works with IE. The FTP site is for family and friends only so I'd rather not give out the URL. I'd growing quite attached to Mozilla and it some point would like to walk away from IE forever. The only issues I have at this point is the FTP issue and not being able to view QuickTime movie files embedded in web content. Back to the issue...I've experimented with opening all posts (port forwarded) on my Linksys router to make sure that it wasn't the issue. Also I've enabled DMZ host, independent of opening all ports and neither corrected the issue. It's probably moot, because I've have no problem accessing the FTP content with IE and my friends and family (not Mozilla users) can access my site also. It's just a minor annoyance, but I'd like to keep resolving each Mozilla issue as it arises. The pop-killer rocks Thx scott

can you attach a log (after removing the IP adress for privacy issue) of the FTP session ? set NSPR_LOG_MODULES=nsSocketTransport:5,nsFTPProtocol:5 set NSPR_LOG_FILE=c:\mozftp.log
I have almost the same issue with Firefox 0.8, but I get a 425 error. I have an account at the FTP server and I can access it with IE but not with Firefox. With both browsers I use ftp://name:password@site When I access the site with my ftp client (Filezilla) I can access if I do not use passive mode. In the mozftp.log file I created (from comment #3) I see that Firefox also sets PASV.
