I'm having the same problem but with any file. No matter what I download, it
will not save.

Even trying to download Mozilla's .exe file from the site, the browser icon
spins for about a second and then just does nothing.

The only time I can get an error message is if I try to download a .torrent file
such as at http://bitconjurer.org/BitTorrent/rh9.html and downloading the RH9
iso. Then it gives me the same error message.

I'm going to try to reinstall Mozilla, but this just suddenly broke one day.
update: reinstall of Mozilla solved the problem.
