User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 Galeon/1.2.10 (X11; Linux i686; U;) Gecko/20030314 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 Galeon/1.2.10 (X11; Linux i686; U;) Gecko/20030314 I currently use Galeon for my browser for many reasons. One of those reasons is proper gesture support. I have tried Mozilla+various extenstions to add desired features, but was never happy with them. I find Phoenix/Firebird(Mozilla 1.4+) is moving in the right direction, but a small but very troubling road block is lack of proper gestures(STILL). I have read various bugs about how people want it mousedown on everything, mouseup on everything, how it is mousedown on windows and mouseup on everything else. I want to see this issue resolved once and for all so everyone can be happy. You can make it consistently mousedown and add an option for mouseup. I would prefer a gui checkbox for control, but could live with a hidden option. Here is a workaround patch for Linux that should hopefully point whoever to the right location in the code to add the preference http://www.edu.lahti.fi/~zur/mozilla_contextmenu.patch Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Right click and hold under Windows 2. Right click and hold under Linux(or any OS other than Windows) Actual Results: Different results and no way to control behavior Expected Results: Same results, unless preference set to change behavior
