I can paste the URL neither in phoenix itself nor in my xterm. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. load "about:" page 2. right click on any URL 3. select "copy link location" 4. right click in location bar 5. select "paste" Actual Results: some left over crud from the clipboard gets pasted Expected Results: paste the URL that I asked it to copy.
Reporter, your build is way too old. Please try this on a recent build and see if you can reproduce the bug.
Hi Felix, this works for me on Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.4a) Gecko/20030425 Mozilla Firebird/0.6. Could you please try a current nightly build. Can anyone from the Linux front confirm this?
I'm sorry that my build looks old, but I did "make -f client.mk checkout" every day in the last week and then re-ran configure and make. My build _is_ recent, even if my user agent string does not show it. Maybe I should submit that as another bug ;-)
Hi Fefe, you should report that, if it's reproducable. Another thing: Could you try a normal Linux binary from ftp.mozilla.org and see, if you could reproduce this there, too. CU in dcs* or dasr...
I just compiled the new CVS version and - lo and behold - the problem is gone. Although the code was not touched. Must've been cosmic rays or something.
