User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-CA; rv:1.0.2) Gecko/20030208 Netscape/7.02 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-CA; rv:1.0.2) Gecko/20030208 Netscape/7.02 I am a web designer developing simple applications for those who have little or no experience with HTML let alone CGI or other applications. I have created many e-mail based web forms for people in the past with no problem utilizing Netscape 4.X and other browser applications. I recently started to use Netscape 7.2 and a recent build of Mozilla on Redhat Linux 7.3. My forms do not work completely on either of these browsers. The form will submit only to the extent that it opens the compose mail dialogue with the correct send to address but no form data. Is this a design characteristic of this new software or is there a apecific setting that is not at default that need to be addressed. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Create an e-mail form page 2.Click submit while on line 3.see results Actual Results: Same Expected Results: Netscape 7.2 and Mozilla should have simply sent the form without opening the mailer. ( By the way this form works perfectly in Netsacpe Composer 4.8 )
sauronhannah@netscape.net (Don Hannah) - could you please create a testcase
no testcase, no example - Reporter, if you see this problem in a recent build of Mozilla, feel free to return and reopen the bug. Marking INVALID
