When you scroll this page down to the textarea and then click on it, there is no
cursor. Cursor is visible though if textarea is within the page when loaded.
Added a div with height:1500px; so that you have to scroll the page.

And about the crash, when you press enter in the textarea, that is reported in
bug 175896.
