Just downloaded the latest build (not CVS) of the calendar. I was having
issues importing ical format files that had been exported from SunONE calendar.
The start times were being messed up (8 hours to early). I checked the files
against the RFC (visually) and they seemed OK (right start and stop times). So
I tried the following.
- Create a new blank calendar
- Add a couple of events with start and stop times
- Export the events
- Create another new calendar
- Import the events
I should now have two calendars with exactly the same events in. Unfortunately
the second calendar has the start time wrong by 8 hours (my timezone offset from
GMT). All day events are OK.
PS
Shouldn't export, reimport, compare be part of the standard regession tests?
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create a new blank calendar
2. Add a couple of events with start and stop times
3. Export the events
4. Create another new calendar
5. Import the events
Actual Results:
Second calendar has the start time wrong by 8 hours (my timezone offset from
GMT). All day events are OK.
Expected Results:
I should now have two calendars with exactly the same events in.
That sounds like bug http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=188095 which
should be resolved with build of 8th May.

Please try the XPI from May 8th 2003 and if fixed, resolve the bug as fixed,
otherwise please attach both ics files: The one used to export the events and
the imported one

I exported and then imported the file. ie the calendar could not correctly
import its own ics file.
I've not tried the update as it only works on version 1.4 beta. I'm currently
using 1.3.

Tested on latest build (XPI from May 8th 2003) and it now seems to work. Thanks.
