Reporter, what do you mean ? Are you trying to reply to an email, to a
newsmessage, or are you trying to respond in a web-forum (where) ?

Received in email:
I visit a site called www.nycsubway.org. They use webbbs to have a "talk" board
on the site. You can read a message and scroll down and see a reply box. which
has the wording "test message" which was the subject of a message I used to set
my cookie. Now whenever I scroll down a message to the reply form I see as
subject "test message" rather than the subject of the message. For example: The
message I read might have as subject "Fare Increase FAQ" and asks if anyone has
any information. I choose to reply. The subject should read "Fare increase FAQ"
and not "test message" (I an using quotes for clarity. the site does not use
quotes. I am using Windows ME, 128MB of Ram and 32MB Video with a 56K dial-up
modem. When Netscape 7.0 first came out I tried it and had the same problem and
I understand it seems to be a known issue in Netscape 6.x and 7.I reverted to
4.8 and later deleted all Netscape and did a clean install of 4.61 which behaved
fine until it locked up and I deleted it. I have high hopes for Mozilla and hate
Internet Explorer(IE).
I enjoy the junk mail feature and hope I wont have to use IE for my browser. I
also tried Opera and it stunk .

Reporter, do you mean the web-forum at
http://talk.nycsubway.org/cgi-bin/subtalk.cgi ? I don't see that behaviour there.
It looks to me that you complaint is that when you've replied on 1 message, that
subject will become the default subject of any other message. I don't see how
this could be the fault of Mozilla, since the page-content is generated by the
webserver. And even if the web-forum stored the default subject somewhere
(subtalk didn't, as far as I could see), maybe in a database, or in a cookie ; I
still fail to see what this has to do with Mozilla.
