User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; .NET CLR 1.1.4322) Build Identifier: 1.4a Launching Mozilla opens up a completely mangled window. It looks like a bad DOS nightmare from the early 90s. See attached screenshot for more information, as I can't really describe this with words. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Launched Mozilla 2. Went to preferences, turned off various debugging options & disk cache. 3. Window went nuts about 30 seconds after closing preferences. Now Mozilla looks like this every time I launch it. Actual Results: Mozilla unusable due to corrupted output. Expected Results: Continue working normally.
a picture is worth a thousand words...
You turned _on_ the "Debug XUL Boxes" debug preference. So every single box in the UI is being outlined, so as you can debug them. You may want to edit your prefs.js and remove that pref setting if you can't reach it via the prefs dialog. And not touch debug prefs unless you know what they do.....
