After uninstalling version 1.3b and routinely installing 1.4a on my Dell
Optiplex GX400, 512MEG Ram, nVidia GeForce 2 GTR with 32 MEG Ram, much hard
drive space, Windows XP Pro with all service packs and updates, the video
display is badly garbled.  Screen shots won't update or correct.  Uninstalled
and tried several times more but bug is consistent.

No.  Only in Mozilla 1.4a.
Have you tried the latest nvidia driver ?
I have no problem with my GF2 MX 400 on win2k

Have tried latest nVidia drivers from Dell's site, nVidia's site, and from
Microsoft.  Identical results.

Just installed 1.4b.  All video problems seem to have been fixed!  Great job!
