Similar to bug 105953 I suppose but for the mail client. I've moved mail from my
previous mail client into mozilla and have a ton of sent-mail which was
previously not marked as 'read' by that client when it was sent. The only way
for me to get rid of the indicator that says I have unread messages in the
folder that contains all of my old sent-mail folders is to go and read each
message individually which is impractical.

Roddy: select the folder; then in the menu, Message|Mark|All Read.

Yes, that should work, but was the keyboard shortcut fixed after 20030326?
Aye, I didn't even notice that there! Shortcut works too, I suppose I was
expecting it in the right-mouse-button menu if the functionality existed.
I note though that it doesn't act recursively through subfolders, you can only
mark the contents of a specific folder as read. Solves my problem though.
