OS is windows 2000. ability to view https:// sites was lost between the april 10 and april 11 phoenix nightly releases. i build firebird almost daily on linux and this behavior is not observed on that platform; i have no problem viewing https:// sites with my current builds on linux. i am able to view/login to the https:// sites with MSIE browser on the windows 2000 platform, so i know it's not a firewall issue. -- lee Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. browse to any https:// site 2. observe that phoenix/firebird does nothing. Actual Results: the https:// site does not load Expected Results: phoenix/firebird should load the https:// site
marking bug as "worksforme". latest phoenix/firebird binary (Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.4b) Gecko/20030511 Mozilla Firebird/0.6) does not exhibit this https:// viewing deficiency. thanks to whoever fixed this thing! :) -- lee

may not be the same issue considering the age of the original bug.... but I have problems on MANY sites loading https pages where there are logins. I dunno if they are using some weird javascripts or what, but the display doesn't complete loading and shows badly formatted 'plain' html with links and broken functionality with many links leading to void(). This affects LOTS of popular sites like: schwab.com, paypal, ebay, and now facebook! seems to be only on my older laptop which is running WindowsXP pro, Firefox 20.0.1
