User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.3) Gecko/20030312
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.3) Gecko/20030312
When submitting account information on a secure banking web site, I am getting
served a (completely) wrong frame, making it impossible to make payments on that
site with Mozilla on Mac OS X (10.2.5).
Problem occurs with Mozilla 1.3, 1.4a and 1.4b (nightly build).
No problems with Explorer 5.2, nor Mozilla 1.0.2. Cannot check whether it worked
with 1.2, but I think I did and the problem started after installing 1.3.
100% reproducible, with the demo version of the bank's internet banking system,
everybody should be able to reproduce it, although the problem is slightly
different with the demo version than when I am logged in personally.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to https://telebank1.ubs.com/classic/e/STCH?initiate
2. Click on 'Demo'
3. Click on 'Payments'
4. Click on 'Orange/Blue payment slip'
5. Select 'Kontokorrent' account
6. Enter valid values for account (01-200027-2),
Reference No. (93 03150 00000 00000 00001 97561)
and any number into the amount field
7. Click 'Verify'
Actual Results:
You get back to the list of accounts. No payment is made.
Expected Results:
You should see a page allowing you to actually confirm the payment order after
the verification step. Try Explorer or 1.0.2 to see what should appear.
When I am personally logged in, I get - after clicking 'verify' - the following
page, which is different from the result using the demo version, but is also
reproducable:
(see attachment 'completely wrong frame.pdf')
A hint to where the problem might lie, tabbing from account to amount etc. does
not work in the affected versions, but works in e.g. the Explorer.
(I have screenshots of all steps, I could post them)

Markus, have you communicated with the site's developers about the problem? Did
you receive any response?

Yes I did, but their comment was that they only support Internet Explorer and
Netscape. And since it works with Mozilla 1.0.2 it probably works with Netscape
(I could not check that since I was not able to unpack their .bin file), and
therefore they won't help me.
There are also no problems with Camino 0.7 (Build ID: 2003030613) and iCab 2.9.
And, the problem occurs with every valid account and Reference number, the ones
I mentioned are just examples.

Problem still exists with Mozilla 1.4 (Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X
Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.4) Gecko/20030624). Site works fine with Safari 1.0.

Problem does not exist anymore. Presumably something got 'fixed' on the web page
side. Now everything works with Mozilla 1.4 & 1.5.

Shouldn't this report be marked "Closed" since the reporter has indicated that
the problem no longer occurs and no one has reproduced it since?

Works for me with the latest trunk (and Firefox 1.0 too)
It's indeed fixed.
