 - What happened

The image (or ALT text) displays, but the throbber doesn't stop. You may need to
view it once or twice to make the problem appear.

 - What was expected

Throbber to halt after image or ALT text display.

* REGRESSION

 - Occurs On
        Win32 Apprunner (1999120108 optimized build [NT 4, Service Pack 5])

 - Doesn't Occur On
        Mac OS Apprunner (1999120108 optimized build)
        Linux Apprunner (1999120109 optimized build)

* CONFIGURATIONS TESTED

- [Mac] Beige Power Mac G3 (266 MHz PowerPC 750), 96 MB RAM (VM on; 1 MB of VM
used), 1024x768 (Thousands of Colors), Mac OS 8.6

- [Win32] Vectra VL (233 MHz P2), 96 MB RAM, 800x600 (True Color), NT 4.0 SP5.

- [Linux] Vectra VL (266 MHz P2), 96 MB RAM. Red Hat Linux 6.0 (GNOME).

Ok...  I have a fix for this one.

The original bug was introduced by me on 10/26/99.  It looks like both gagan and
dougt added patches which fixed *some* of the problems...  Unfortunately, they
did not address the root problem :-(

I need to regress my fix against the bugs that they fixed with their patches.
ie. bug #19167, #16801, #17282, #17682, #17690, #18616, #17393

I've given this the super-anal verification treatment given rpotts's comments
below. Using the 2000011108 Mac OS/Win32 & 2000011110 Linux builds, I can no
longer reproduce this bug.

Moreso, the two bugs marked as duplicates are also no longer reproducible on any
platform.

Thus verified as fixed.
