User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.4b) Gecko/20030507 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.4b) Gecko/20030507 I'm not sure, but I think this started some time after version 1.1. Since then, I have "upgraded" with each release. I would do a clean install to test this bug, but there is no way for me to export my passwords, and I have no idea what file houses them. (perhaps an export feature would prove useful in a future release? I for one would love to see it!) Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Send an email. 2. Check Sent box. Actual Results: Box is completely empty, actual files in Mozilla directory are 0 bytes. Expected Results: Stored a copy of the email I had sent. I have a feeling this may have been caused by some sort of conflict between previous versions when upgrading and helping to test your latest releases.
Reporter, is this still a problem? Please test in a new build with a clean profile. (Create one just for testing, if necessary.) Also check your current settings in Mail & Newsgroups Account Settings -> (Account Name) -> Copies & Folders, just to verify that mozilla is set to place sent messages in the sent folder. Please report back in this bug. Also, see http://gemal.dk/mozilla/files.html for a description of where specific profile data is stored, for help moving critical data to a new profile.
wfm, inactivity. Please reopen if this is still reproducible, and include the build (recent, please) that you tested on.
