User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.4b) Gecko/20030507 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.4b) Gecko/20030507 I opened the sidebar to test bug 205033, tried to reproduce steps in that bug, then closed the sidebar using the X in the top-right corner. I went back to today's buglist, hit refresh, the sidebar reopened, and reopens every time I refresh. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Test bug 205033 in a new tab (open url hist window, open sidebar, etc) 2. Close sidebar, close bug tab 3. Refresh today's buglist Actual Results: Sidebar reopens, though with the Search tab active. Expected Results: Not opened the sidebar. It only occurs when the buglist is refreshed. Any other website does not reproduce this behavior.
It also occurs in every instance of Mozilla opened thereafter (until all instances are closed...then I have to do the steps again to reproduce).
What is your setting in edit\preferences\Navigator\Internet Search\[ ] Open the search Tab in the sidebar... ?
It's enabled. Keep in mind, though, that the sidebar doesn't open at all on bugzilla until I reproduce the steps given.
that means something were broken before and it's now working as expected

Uhhh, fill me in here. I've never seen the sidebar open in bugzilla, and now it _only_ happens when I test the bug. What's the "working as expected" part?
That the sidebar opens on a bugzilla query because you have the pref enabled and bugzilla is a search Engine in the sidebar.
So what you're saying is that I should file a bug that the sidebar doesn't open right away when I arrive at bugzilla, correct? I'm not trying to be difficult here, I just don't see the connection between "it only shows up when I do weird stuff" and "it's doing exactly what it should."
