CSS Typed OM implementation has reached a level of completeness where it can be enabled by default in Nightly for broader testing and feedback.
A couple of developers/users have also been running Nightly with layout.css.typed_om.enabled experimentally enabled over the past few weeks, providing additional confidence before enabling it by default.
If enabling the feature by default turns out to negatively impact the Nightly experience for some users, we can temporarily revert the preference change, address the reported issues, and enable it again once they have been resolved.
This bug tracks flipping the layout.css.typed_om.enabled preference to true in Nightly and updating the corresponding interface exposure tests to reflect the new default.

Enable the CSS Typed OM preference by default in Nightly and update the
corresponding interface exposure tests to reflect the new default.
The implementation has matured enough for broader Nightly testing while
remaining functionality and follow-up improvements continue to be implemented.
If unexpected issues affecting the Nightly experience are reported, the
preference can be temporarily disabled again while they are addressed.

This is definitely something for the Nightly release notes. Jan, would you mind creating a request to add them?
I've also added the dev-doc-needed flag, so it gets mentioned in https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Mozilla/Firefox/Experimental_features.

Yeah, thanks for mentioning it. I'll create a request with some proposed wording.

Release Note Request (optional, but appreciated)
[Why is this notable]:
Enabling CSS Typed Object Model (Typed OM) by default closes a major interoperability gap and makes the standardized API available to web developers without enabling a preference.
[Suggested wording]:
Starting with Firefox 154, Firefox Nightly enables the CSS Typed Object Model (Typed OM) by default. This API allows web applications and other Web Platform features to work with CSS values through typed JavaScript objects instead of strings.

Added to the Fx154 nightly release notes, please allow 30 minutes for the site to update.
The nightly-only note will be removed after three cycles or when it is enabled by default, whichever comes earlier.

Removing the nightly-only note since the release note has been carried over for 3 cycles.
A final release note can be added and tracked under the bug that eventually enables this.
