Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686) Gecko/20030430 Galeon/1.3.4 Debian/1.3.4.20030509-1 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686) Gecko/20030430 Galeon/1.3.4 Debian/1.3.4.20030509-1 As I find plugins most suitable for embedded objects, I would like to be able to tell Mozilla to favor external helpers for full-page resources -- especially things like PostScript and PDF documents for which I want all the screen real-estate I can get. (Being able to enable this option for a particular set of MIME types would be especially great.) Alternatively, viewing with an external helper could be an additional context-menu option. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install a plugin for a type (say, application/pdf) commonly encountered as full-page resources. 2. Navigate to some document of that type. Actual Results: The document's viewer is constrained to the size of the relevant browser window, which imposes some extra borders even in full-screen mode. Expected Results: I would have liked to be able to view it in an external helper application, which can potentially have a larger (and in particular, taller) geometry.
