User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.3) Gecko/20030429 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.3) Gecko/20030429 In previous versions of Mozilla the above URL used to correctly hide the status bar but it no longer seems to do so. Is this a bug? All other browsers I have tried correctly hide the status bar with the above line. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Put the above URL in location bar entry field and hit return. Actual Results: A new window appears correctly sized with all features removed as per instruction with the exception of the status bar. Expected Results: The status bar should also have been removed as per all other browsers normal behaviour.
have you disabled hiding the status bar in edit/preferences/advanced/scripts&plugins?
