Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.3.1) Gecko/20030425 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.3.1) Gecko/20030425 I just got the new version, 3.1, and was sad to see i still can't copy text and past it in a word doc, w/o it putting the text in one big paragraph, instead of keeping the text formatting. I have to open up Explorer whenever I want to grab text, as they keep all formatting and I don't have to go over it as much as Mozilla. Any chance this feature can be upgraded to keep formatging? Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.copy text 2.paste into word doc 3.frustrated it's all one paragraph Actual Results: one huge paragraph, no matter how much text I copy. Expected Results: would be nice to keep formatting, line breaks, paragraphs, etc. can anyone please help.
bug 194389 was filed on the line breaks issue. That bug is now fixed but after the 1.3.x branch was made. There are other outstanding rich formatting "bugs" like bug 79864 and bug 186550, but the jist of the problem described here (one big paragraph instead of multiple lines, lists, whatever) has been solved. marking dupe of bug 194389 *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 194389 ***
