Netscape 4.76 and 4.77 and 4.78 and 4.8 cam do the above. Neither Netscape 7.02
or Outlook Express or Mozilla 1.4b are capable to do this very usefull function.
Can you possibly transfer this feature from the older, unimproved versions of
Netscape 4.7x or 4.8 into present day Mozilla?
I would give all my votes to this bug.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open Mozilla composer. Take a screen image Alt+ Prnt Scrn
2.Place cursor in composer text
3.Click Edit and then Paste
Nothing happens.
This works like a charm with Netscape 4.7x versions.
Actual Results:
After I click Edit and Paste, the cursor stays wher it is and no image appears.
Expected Results:
I wish Mozilla would kept and carried this "paste screen image" feature from the
previous versions of Netscape 4.76 to 4.8 into the present Mozilla 1.4b and
further on.
There is a bug # 47838 which could be along the experience and problem I am having.
To be able to use this function, I have to also install one of the 4.7x
versions until a future Mozilla version will restore this feature.

I think this can be marked a dupe of bug 47838. See comment #2 which says that
the paste option simply does nothing.
