This problem didn't occur until I rebooted my linux box the first time after installing 1.4b. It ran fine until tonight when I rebooted. (I downloaded it on the first day it was available), red hat 9, no patches or updates. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.go to my.yahoo.com 2.click on bush vows hunt for saudi bombers, by reuters 3.watch browser crash Actual Results: lost browser. My install of Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.2.1) Gecko/20030225 works fine on the same link.
Reporter, could you install the latest nightly build and try it again? http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla/nightly/latest/ If your Mozilla still crash, please provide stacktrace or TalkBack incident ID.

wfm Mandrake 9.1 and Moz 2003051222 [took the tour and checked the weather in SF]. I don't have any tickers. Perhaps these tickers use Java and you're using an old version of Java, if any. In the browser address bar, type about:plugins What's your Java handler?
