User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; de-AT; rv:1.3) Gecko/20030312 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; de-AT; rv:1.3) Gecko/20030312 After I upgraded from Mozilla 1.1 to Mozilla 1.3, numerous web pages such as amazon.de were rendered with large gaps and a scrollbar out of proportion. When I tried to reproduce the bug by reducing the HTML code further and further, I found that the bug appears under very peculiar circumstances, one of them being that it appears in a page containing the string xä but not xa (nothing else changed). I attach the HTML file and leave this to the professionals -- this is an extremely annoying bug as it (a) breaks the top down navigation due to the scrollbar problems and (b) appears on many pages. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Go to http://privat.svensson.de/bugzilla.htm or http://www.amazon.de/exec/obidos/ASIN/B00004RJ7N/ or many ebay.de pages (e.g. http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2730088379&category=4602) 2. Scroll down Actual Results: There is large gap: The table background is stretched for many dozens of pages (when scrolling further down). Expected Results: Mozilla should display the content without any gaps.
