User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.4b) Gecko/20030514 Mozilla Firebird/0.6
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.4b) Gecko/20030514 Mozilla Firebird/0.6

The above URL is the worst case and takes a long time. Try the ones below instead.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
A. Not so bad case:
A1. http://bugzilla.mozilla.org
A2. click on "View Bugs Already Reported Today"
A3. view / page source

B. Bad case
B1. http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/query.cgi
B2. Enter "--thisrandomstring" (without the quotes) in the search box and press
"Search"

C. Very bad case
C1. Go to the URL
http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/buglist.cgi?short_desc=--thisrandomstring
C2. Wait a minute.

Actual Results:
A. Source lacks sytax highlighting and includes the original "Please standby"
source", including at the top: "--thisrandomstring
Content-Type: text/html"

B. Page presented as plain text instead of HTML.

C. Page loops and refreshes for each bug in the list, probably stopping
evemtually. For each bug, it clears the browser window, scrolls back to the top
and displays the next bug, in plain text.

Expected Results:
A. Display the page source with sytax highlighting, and without the "Standby"
source first.

B. Display the page.

C. Display the page from Bugzilla's little mind.

Might want to change "--thisrandomstring" to something more intuitive, like
"--afriendlymarker," so it does not lead to false bug reports like Bug 158166
Note, the browser show this in plain text, and it's missing many expected lines
from the top. View Source is similar to Case A.
Aaaack. Bug 158166 is not a "false" bug. It's a Bugzilla issue about using
browser detection for this type of server push. I tested Phoenix 0.3
(2002-10-29) and it behaves the same with view source and just a little better
with the concocted query string. Well, I really did search on that string to
try to find this bug, so it can happen! Adding WebKit to the UA fixes it all
nicely due to the Bugzilla fix for Bug 188712.

Bug 158166 for Product=Bugzilla is still open and the fix may be to get rid of
this kind of server push, esp. since plain "Mozilla" in the UA will mean
"Firebird" soon enough. So it would be strange to detect "Firebird" in the UA
the same way the fix to Bug 188712 detects Safari "WebKit".

On the other hand, it's a rendering weakness in Firebird. Dupe or not? Product?
