To try to rectify the above I uninstalled and reinstalled Office 2000. I had
tried to use Spam Bully which caused its own problems. I had uninstalled Spam
Bully but some components remain despite uninstalling and reinstalling Office as
described. THis may be the cause of the problem.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Attempt to import email from Outlook 2000 after using Spam Bully on it.
2.
3.
Actual Results:
No change.
Can Mozilla have more options for items one can import from, such as plain text?
Aside from the request to import from plaintext sources, I can't see how this is
a Mozilla bug. For reference, Eudora is a plaintext source, and others should
be filed as separate bug reports.
-> Invalid. If you believe this is actually fixable by changing some part of
Mozilla code, please reopen with specifics of your installation and detailed
steps to reproduce on another machine. Also, the text of the error message
would be useful, as well as whether it's a Mozilla- or Outlook-generated error
message.
Old summary: While trying to import mail from Outlook 2000 error message appears
that Outlook not installed properly.
