Columns appear to be overlapping or are insufficiently sized;
consequently their text is also overlapping/overstruck and so
it is difficult to read.  I believe the tables are being automatically
generated by Excel, although that's just a guess.

if I make the font bigger, the "date" overflows into the "field"

if that's what you're seeing, it's probably Evang.

This has 'table-layout: fixed', with the sizes specified exactly.
