Trunk build 2003-05-20: WinMe, Mac 10.1.5, Linux RH 8 Overview: Filters based on status do not appear to work. Found this bug after verifying bug# 183158. Steps to reproduce: 1. Create a filter which moves New message to a specific folder "Status" "Is" "New", "Move to folder1" "folder1" 2. Create, send, receive a message Actual Results: The message remains in the Inbox instead of moving to the specified folder.

I don't believe this bug is an issue any longer. Altho 1.6 does exhibit a display problem while editing status-based rules (bug 232840), the defined rule displays OK in 1.7, and executes correctly in both versions.
