Using trunk build 20030521 on winxp, we still have a few cases where the descriptive dialog doesn't with the first useage of the Junk Mail feature. 1.) Migrated or New POP profile, no existing messages in Inbox, New messages retrieved 1st action, click on the Junk Column of a message to unmark it as Junk -no dialog 2.) Migrated POP profile, existing read messages in Inbox, New messages retrieved 1st action, click on the Junk Column of a read message to mark it as Junk -no dialog 3.)Migrated POP account, existing read messages in Inbox, New messages retrieved Same as above but first open a non-junk mail to get a message displayed in message pane, then run scenario 1 -still no discriptive dialog. 4.)Migrated POP or IMAP account, existing read messages in Inbox, New messages retrieved Same as above but first open a non-junk mail to get a message displayed in message pane, then run scenario 2 -still no discriptive dialog.
Nominating, this would be a common first experience for a migrated profile user to see what these new icons assigned to their messages do. They would click on the icon. I don't think they would go to the menu first (the menu 1st usage works) and the Button is greyed out until a message is selected (it works too). 1. Migrate a POP or IMAP profile, making sure you will have new messages coming in when you log in. 2. Log into mail and wait for analyzing to finish. 3. Select the Junk column of a message to change the junk status Result: no descriptive dialog Expected: to get a descriptive dialog as this is the first usage of the feature.
